To provide our tournament platform, we collect the following types of information:

• • Personal Profile Data: Name, email address, date of birth (to verify you are 18+), gender, and occupation.
• • Identity Verification: We require you to upload a clear profile picture (selfie) to serve as your player avatar. Please note: You will be required to present a physical government-issued ID in person on tournament day to verify your age and eligibility.
• • Tournament & Gameplay Data: Team affiliations, self-reported skill ratings, match scores, and tournament history.
• • Location Data: With your permission, we collect location data to show you nearby tournaments and venues.
• • Media: Profile pictures and photos taken at tournaments (such as Championship photos).
• • Payout Information: If you win a tournament, we collect a connected account ID generated securely by Stripe to distribute your prize money. We do not store your raw bank account or routing numbers on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• • To facilitate tournament registration, matchmaking, and bracket generation.
• • To enforce eligibility rules and verify age.
• • To process entry fees and distribute tournament prize winnings (handled securely by trusted third-party providers like Stripe; we do not store your credit card or bank account numbers).
• • To send push notifications and emails regarding tournament updates, schedule changes, and support requests.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• • Within the App: Your name, username, occupation, and team affiliation will be visible to other players for tournament rosters and historical brackets.
• • Service Providers: We share data with trusted infrastructure partners, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting and database management, and Stripe for payment processing.
• • Legal Compliance: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.

4. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You may request to delete your account and associated data at any time via the "Delete Account" option in the Profile section of the app. Alternatively, if you no longer have the app installed, you can request account deletion by emailing us directly at support@kingsandqueens.us with the subject line "Account Deletion Request."

• • Anonymization: Because player profiles are fundamentally tied to historical tournament brackets, matchmaking, and team records, choosing to delete your account will result in the immediate scrubbing of your Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
• • Your name will be changed to "Anonymous User", and your email, date of birth, profile pictures, phone number, and occupation will be permanently deleted from our servers. Your historical gameplay records (wins/losses) will remain under this anonymous profile to preserve the integrity of past tournaments.
